A MIB catalogue built in to the Management Console provides a user-friendly way to select the appropriate object identifiers to be monitored. New MIBs can be added to the catalogue simply by browsing to manufacturer-supplied MIB file. The values collected from each device are plotted on a performance chart, so that you can see how they change over time. The individual values can be monitored, and a response automatically generated when a value crosses a threshold, keeping you informed about unusual activity. ServerAssist provides two complementary sets of reporting information. Summaries and aggregated information give overviews of the state of the entire network and server infrastructure. Detailed reports cover the different aspects of an individual server's operation in detail.
